Copyediting can instantly make a text look professional - and the writer look good (whether a long-time professional author or a freshman high school student). Advanced copyediting includes everything in basic copyediting (fixing errors in spelling, grammar, and usage). It also involves: - Improving style, including clarity, sentence structure, reading flow, and tone I have copyedited professionally since 2007. I have the most experience with academic papers (particularly in the humanities and social sciences) and computer-technology books, but can work with all but the most specialised texts (medical articles and similar). I work with both fiction and non-fiction. I will work on a text of any length - as short as a memo, if you feel it could use the boost, or as long as a Russian novel. (The longest text I have worked on thus far was over 700 pages.) I will continue to work with you on your text as long as necessary, re-editing after revisions as required. My standard turn-around time is one day per twenty pages of text plus a one day buffer, but if desired I can cover as many as fifty pages in a day for an additional charge. If your case is urgent I can normally remove the one day buffer, but that is not a guarantee. (The standard turn-around time is also not guaranteed - some texts take longer to process than others. It should, however, be accurate in most cases.)
