Editing, page layouts, typesetting, proofing, and print supervision for nearly twenty-five years. Usual assignments are editing/rewriting of typescripts, designing layouts, typesetting, giving the final output in press-ready files, and when required supervising their printing for nearly all the major publishers in India and their offices abroad. Subjects dealt with: Non-fiction, Fiction, Social Sciences, History, Management, etc. A major chunk of assignments has dealt with the editing/rewriting of Doctoral theses to readable and organized academic books. Recent projects have included a 4-colour book on gender studies; an academic book on economic history (tables, footnotes, bibliography, index); a manual for public relations (footnotes, bibliography, index); and a book on spirituality.
