I lived abroad for twelve years, in Asia, Africa, and Europe. During that time I worked as a journalist in French and Italian as well as in English. Among other assignments, I covered the EU as a political journalist, wrote for business magazines and specialized newspapers, and contributed to popular publications in Belgium and Italy.
I have written about business, both domestic and international, since 1994. My clients/subjects have included Renault, Munich RE (the largest reinsurance company in the world), Heineken, Ariane (Europe's NASA), Tractebel, Volvo, and many others.
While living abroad I also taught English, ESL, and American business practices to the executives of multinationals. Currently, I teach business and international marketing classes at the college level. Editing, proofing, copywriting, and teaching are among my daily tasks.
My undergrad degree in English literature; my MBA is in International Marketing.
