First print ad for small bank generated $450,000 in mortgage applications. since then, I have interviewed authors Nicholas Sparks, Dr. Jerri Nielsen (South Pole Doctor), artist Thomas Kinkade and countless other very enjoyable, interesting people (though much less famous than these three). I specialize in feature writing but am also experienced in ad copy, business reviews, food columns, events, places of interest, etc. I won an Honorable Mention in 2003 from the Florida Press Association and had an article on breast cancer considered for the North Carolina Press Association Awards in 2000.
