I don't know if it was my exceptional teachers in elementary school or just an innate trait, but grammar and syntax have always come easy to me. I can feel how a sentence should be written and how it should be different if spoke. In high school, diagramming sentences became a hobby of mine. I have worked for entertainment news websites and my colleges literary magazine. On top of my attention to detail, I believe I have the skills and knowledge to better a story or paper. Through years of reading and workshops, I have learned how to flesh out scenes and characters, how to fix plot holes, and add all the description needed to make the reader feel like he/she is in the scene.
