My educational background includes an Associates Degree in Nursing. After obtaining my degree, I worked in several healthcare environments as a registered nurse, spanning a total of 10 years. Some of the settings in which I worked included trauma and hospice care.I left nursing to pursue my dream of being a a full-time writer. Writing has been my passion since I was a very young age. Even while I was a nurse, I wrote for various venues, including for the newsletter for the hospice for which I worked. For the most part, I write health related articles, although I willingly write about other topics, since I have an insatiable appetite for learning new things and very much enjoy research.
