My love affair with the English language dates back to the day ten-year-old me finished reading 'Ivanhoe', and promptly flipped back to the beginning to read it again. When I was twelve I began writing my own fiction, and when I was fifteen, I began editing the work of my peers. I am a stickler for grammar and spelling, but more than that I delight in bringing a piece of writing to life. As a writer I aim to create clean, concise and practical copy, warm and lively creative prose, and also limericks. As an editor I aim to work quickly and neatly, eliminate error and ambiguity, and clearly present the core thought of a piece of writing so that any reader can understand it.I have many years of unpaid experience in all these areas, and intend to make written communication my primary career. After all, if you do what you love, you will never work a day in your life.
