I have developed several skills throughout my career that may be of assistance in your ventures.Technical Writer:I served for 19 years as a technical writer and project manager for two providers of small business software and services. During this time, I wrote and edited printed documentation, designed and developed online help files and web sites, and produced training guides and computer-based training products. As a senior stakeholder in my employers’ technical writing departments, I also coordinated writing team activities and managed groups of writers. Teacher:When my employer folded in 2007, I elected to become an elementary school teacher. In the 2008-09 school year, my class attained the highest standardized test scores in the school, a rarity for a first-year teacher. Although I have been encouraged to remain in my teaching position, I elected not to return for another year.
