I am currently a freelance writer with a small number of trade clients in the UK. I write articles, landing pages, blogs and other bespoke material as requested, and am adept at covering topics as diverse as local news, regeneration, retirement planning, heat pumps and student accomodation. Additionally, I am a published author (The Guiri, 2013) and seasoned Substack blogger with hundreds of subscribers worldwide, focusing primarily on music, culture, Spain and Barcelona in particular (my specialism). I recently launched a travel site which is used for affiliate marketing and distribute a periodical newsletter. In my previous job, I wrote regular bulletins which were distributed around the company and to journalists and PR clients across the UK and North America. In that role I also managed a remote team in the Philippines, leading data research projects, correcting their English to ensure that all content satisfied SLA requirements and GDPR guidelines. I have a longstanding passion for the English language going all the way back to childhood when I was surrounded by literature from an early age.
