I studied interpreting, which provides a thorough knowledge of the basics, structure and syntax of languages, which, in turn, provides the necessary skills to process language in a written and oral level, while honoring any given language's particularity. The languages I work with are English and Spanish, which helps reach more readers and consumers. Also, I am an avid reader, which helps me write better and be more detail-oriented when it comes to editing or writing texts. I read many genres, which enlightens me on various subjects. Reading has helped me appreciate the beauty of a well written text. As an interpreter I also have the research skills needed to find a term I am not familiar with and, in addition, I can work well under pressure. Lastly, I've always loved writing, both in English and Spanish, I consider myself a creative person when it comes to creating something from scratch and to finding solutions to problems, that, consequently makes me proactive and decision-assertive. 

On a side note, I am a gymnastics coach and judge. Those two activities have enriched certain skills: positive reinforcement, attention to detail, fast thinking, and patience.
