Being a content writer I am basically responsible for developing inimitable and unique writing for websites, social media, blogs and online articles. Besides this I also help the marketing team in the development of engaging content which is usually very helpful and used in the marketing and advertising campaigns. It is an obvious fact that it is not an easy task to develop a good and effective content. While mentioning this I will also like add that as a content writer I believe that for the writing skills an individual doesn’t require a specific training or degree but the inherent passion and love for writing to be good content writer. On the other hand, certain training and guidelines are needed in different fields of writing such as developing content for a website, as the writing style of a web article and the writing style of a newspaper or magazine article have a lot difference and follow different guidelines. As a content writer it is very important to understand the requirements of the interested party as what kind of content they are expecting along with the preferences of format and writing style. Sometimes the interested parties provide specific guidelines and samples for their content requirements and sometimes we have to come up with innovative ideas on our own. Besides this following are the tasks and responsibilities that I have to accomplish within this line of work: • To research the ideas and information to the style of content required or the topic assigned • To develop ideas obtained from the online/offline research and manage those ideas for the content • Also to reform the practical ideas by going through the process of eliminating the least relevant ones and keeping them stored for the upcoming projects • To write new and unique content that is based on research and innovative ideas subsequent to the guidelines provided for different categories of documents
