Creative Direction, Copywriting

I work freelance as a Creative Director and copywriter for various agencies across live action and animation, generating and presenting creative responses to client briefs and directing teams of storyboarders, animators (working in Unreal, Cinema 4D and After Effects), on-set crew, actors, editors, sound designers and VFX to create and deliver content for clients. These have included promos, projected content and immersive experiences and clients have ranged from Michael Kors, NEOM and Guinness to Mercedes Formula 1 (a promo which just scooped Dot Comm and Collision awards).

I came from film and TV and as a writer I've scripted for films, games and broadcasters such as BBC, Channel4, Huffington Post and SKY, including writing and directing Season 1 of the 'Horrible Histories' web spin-off and the children's BAFTA-winning interactive Channel 4 web drama/game 'Bow Street Runner'. I have also written copy for various brands and organisations ranging from  Philips and McKinsey to Unicef and the UN Climate Change Conference and 'Cliffhanger Studios' I scripted for Modern Foreign Languages bagged the RTS Innovation Award.

As a director, I've worked across animation and live action - my feature thriller 'Concrete Plans' is currently on Film4, SKY premiere, Amazon etc, my short 'Man In Fear' was BAFTA long-listed and my latest short 'Wired' is just out to film festivals. I've also directed various promos and music videos for bands such as Skunk Anansie.
