My passion for advertising stems from a childhood surrounded by old world advertising charm, Staedtler pencil and tracing paper, brainstorming sessions accompanied by crumpled yellow paper scribbles. My Father enveloped me in a world I can't get rid of even if I tried, its in the DNA, welded to my being. My journey in design began in Ogilvy and Mather, a bitter sweet experience (anyone in advertising says their first job was all butterflies and sunshine, is really good at marketing or in denial) that taught me lessons and gave me rewards that no other experience has since. Post O&M I got into the Digital Game, this was in the early onset of the digital wave in India- Picsean Media was a happy space that I enjoyed with wide eyed enthusiasms, my role graduated from a Graphic Designer to an Art Director, this is when I realised my interest in leadership. Two years of Picsean was filled with cascades of creative thinking and design in app building, UI and UX, concept design, coding and a host of other digital driven experiences that helped my love for the platform flourish. Soon after my two year stint I took a year off to do some globetrotting. This helped my eccentric mind ease into thoughts of enentrepreneurship, I came back home and worked with a friend and began my Social Media Marketing Career, this meant handling social pages and designing strategy, posts and campaigns for clients. Three years of working alone does take a toll on the creative brain, I craved for interaction and vibing of ideas, something only a team could give me! Enter ADOWL CREATIVE AGENCY my concept of what my Father had done years ago, except mine would have new world tools like Excel and Adobe, the circle is complete and I am currently a proud partner of a 5 year old Digital Agency with a team that I can call family! We are now in the trenches because of the pandemic but are still flying low and keeping our glide steady.
