I have been writing for about 2 years and am an active part of a group for emerging writers. I have had 2 pieces published online. One publication is active and the link is in the portfolio section. Please check it out. The other publication has folded. I am still actively pursing more opportunities to get my work published. I have a passion for storytelling and the group I belong to provides feedback and encouragement for people who are new to writing or pursue merely for their own enjoyment. My full time career is as a Production Material Controller in a manufacturing facility. I my career, I have had several contract positions leaving job searching a more constant practice. I have worked with professional to learn to create a document that speaks to employers and I have experience to know what works and what does not. My writing experience is useful to take a work history and turn it into a narrative on what is being sought after.
