Katherine is a freelance creative writer with a bachelors degree in creative writing. Her opinion editorials on television shows have been featured on the front page of Jokersupdates.com. In 2010, Katherine's poetry won a national medal from the Scholastic Art and Writing awards. Since then, her science fiction short story has been featured on the front page of Farther Stars Than These and she continues to work on her children's picture books. On many occasions, Katherine finds herself editing and proofreading papers for her friends who are still in university.
