My background is very diverse including retail Regional management of over 3M in revenue responsibilities, corporate visual merchandising, non-profit fundraising, Board of Director recruitment and training, event planning, social media management and now Editor and Creative Director of a highly respected and profitable monthly publication. I serve on numerous non-profit boards in the community. I am an expert at event planning and execution. I currently serve as the media relations chairperson for the Grace Episcopal School Booster Club and proudly serve as a team member of the St Jude Dream Home in Monroe, La. Developing innovate fundraising campaigns, that generate revenue for these projects is my passion. 6 years as the Regional Executive Director for the American Heart Association taught me the rewards of using my management, marketing, sales, training and people skills to help others. I believe we all something to give - Time, Talent or Treasure. I also freelance as a non-profit and fundraising consultant on individual projects as needed. Helping others motivates me to continue to building networks and relationships to gain access to resources that can help even more. Leading by example, building strong teams, working toward a common goal, valuing individuals unique qualities as an asset and treating people with kindness have been the key to my success so far. I'm looking forward to personal and professional development and opportunities in 2016 - I believe the future hold unlimited opportunities and the best is yet to come.
