In my previous life I was a film and TV editor, working across all genres, from drama to documentary, entertainment to music. I recently completed an Open University BA Hons degree in Humanities, with a specialism in Creative Writing. Other modules included Advanced Creative Writing, Modern English Literature, Film and Television History and The Technology of Music. As well as creative writing I also completed many training manuals designed to introduce novice TV operators to complex technical subjects and equipment.
