One word: Style. It's simple, really. Readers love reading what I write.
Although I have learned about various writing techniques; although I have earned a university degree reading the 'best' of the 'best' literature of the past 400 years, my writing style, tone, my ability to use language to express personality and character is what I am really good at.
There's no doubt that it's been shaped by my education and experience, but the intangible quality of my writing remains as it has always been: a pleasure to read, no matter what I write.
This is something that can not be learned, and yet, somehow, I have it.
