I recently completed a series of in-depth articles for the construction industry. Subjects ranged from a profile of a fourth-generation American Farmer, a contractor that built his own 300-ton crane from scratch, and the cost-benefits analysis of utilizing soil reclamation in paving projects. Each required personal interviews, extensive research and the ability to put a fresh spin on somewhat dry or esoteric material. I thoroughly enjoyed these projects. Research is one of my fortes, but I do not "extend my deadlines" to do "just a bit more research". Tell me when you want your completed work, and that is when you get it, barring acts of God, of course... :) Just don't ask me to completely bury my sense of humor, or my very intense interest in the 'process' of things.
