From 1993 to 2005, I was the Artistic Director of the Shakespeare Project, whose mission was to bring free large-scale outdoor productions to NYC parks in low-income communities throughout all five boroughs. Under my leadership, the company increased its budget from $800 to more than $400,000. Currently, I work for a roster of small and emerging arts and education organizations in Los Angeles. I help them develop their missions statements and program descriptions, creating fundraising campaigns, writing proposals, and helping with strategic planning. Highlights include: * 2004-2005; each year, I secured $250K in in-kind donations of major outdoor advertising for our Play Outside!
