There is nothing easy about Creative Writing (or, really, writing in general). The ideas are limitless, but the art of placing them on paper is where many find difficulty. There are, however, steps that can be taken to make the writing process less of a headache. 1. What is the purpose of your writing? 2. Outline the plot. How long will the piece be? 3. Who are the characters? 4. What happens during the twist/climax? 5. What is the conclusion? 6. Create a rough draft. Revise. And revise again. 7. Have someone else read over your work for mistakes and inconsistencies.
