My strength is in writing copy that is clean and accessible. I know how to engage a reader from the start and keep them around until the finish and maybe leave them with something that they hadn't before considered. To quote the essayist Dr. Johnson "Those authors who would find many readers, must endeavour to please while they instruct."In 2009, I began honing my skills reviewing classic horror and science fiction films of the 1970s and '80s for my blog Knightcourt's Movie Den (now defunct). This earned me notice with an Editor from a Providence, RI based Arts and Entertainment magazine called "Motif" and since October 2012, I have been one of their main contributors for theatre and event reviews. I am now looking to branch out to long form articles; researched subjects, consumer product reviews, and formal interviews.
