Added up into years, my association with the Food Industry, exceeds 25. I have worked every position in a restaurant from dishwasher to Executive Chef. I have been a GM and assistant in 2 major Fast Food chains. I have catered for as many as 2000, and have been a Private Chef for as few as 2. I have supervised or cooked for banquets and weddings of varying themes and at far flung locales. And having had at all times the writer's subconscious fascination with all that went on about me, during it all, I noted the intricacies and drama, the exhilarating joy and unrelenting stress, like a reporter allowed to accompany the troops into combat. Yet I was also a major participant at every level of the battle as well as a driver of its politics. Food is what I love. It is my passion.
