I have been a sports writer for 13 years and currently freelance for a major metropolitan newspaper. In the past, I have covered everything from pro sports to high school athletics, including the NFL, NHL, NCAA football and NCAA basketball. Newspaper design and editing was often required as well. I am a storyteller. Most of my experience has been in the realm of the sports world, but a story is a story, and the end result is the same no matter the subject -- engage and enlighten the reader.
