I am currently the managing editor of a weekly community newspaper. Community journalism has allowed me to follow a number of beats including government and legislation, law enforcement, agriculture, education, sports, features etc. I have edited a number of novel-length fiction manuscripts for Righter Publishing Company focusing primarily on story logic and flow. I have also written several introductions and summaries for Righter publications. I have volunteered with numerous non-profit organizations organizing programs and creating press releases, flyers and newsletters.
