I am an experienced creative writer and designer with a range of experience and training. I have studied creative writing for many years; over the last fifteen years, I have studied with published writers from the Houston area. I am currently ghostwriting a historical novel which will be published in 2007. I have also been designing various forms of needlework for many years; in the last ten years, I established a counted-cross-stitch design company called The Chocolate Cat, and designed a website to showcase some of my design. For the last couple of years, I've been a regular contributor of articles and designs for Sampler and Antique Needlework Quarterly (published by Hoffman Media). The current issue, Winter 2005 (available in November) contains a cross-stitch pattern I created to reproduce an antique sampler.
