I have nine years as a columnist and feature writer for the Herald Democrat in Sherman, Texas. Most recently, for three years, I was the editor and principal writer for Texoma Living! Magazine, a bimonthly "city" magazine for North Texas. TL is no longer published, but the magazine's contents are available on line at www.texomaliving.com.
I am a member of the state (Georgia) and federal bar. I have a publishing company, Buffalo Grass Press, and have written a book, Tall Cotton: The Cotton County Chronicles, under that imprint. I wrote and produced the documentary, The Battle of Kennesaw Mountain & The Atlanta Campaign, that is shown at the Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park in Georgia. I have two Telly awards and an award from the Georgia Music Industry Association. I am a founder of the Red River Storytellers Outfit and perform as a professional storyteller and cowboy poet.
I have written and produced television plays and radio scripts.
