I started my professional career as a teacher in a high school for girls where my whole personality was moulded and I became a committed, hard working, and courageous professional. I learnt to handle students if all age satisfactorily and I learnt the highs and lows of interpersonal relationships. 

From teaching, I moved on to the bigger development world by joining the UN World Food Program where I acquired different kind of skills particularly the art of diplomacy in communications. 

Currently, I am a socio-political leader working for the last 5 decades to promote literacy and skill and enterprise development among people especially women. I am a leader and an excellent motivational speaker as well as writer. I speak three languages comfortably. My profession requires me to write profusely on different issues. I have been writing for my FB page for about 10 years now, and as founder and head of my NGO, De Laas Gul (DLG), I write every day, project proposals, project and irganizion’s progress reports, guidelines, policy statements, minutes etc. 

I mix easily with people from all nationalities, gender, and age groups. Since I have travelled quite extensively, I have acquired a good perspective on different cultures and I have been enriched in many ways with my experiences.
