Barcelona sports adviser Jordi Cruyff expressed his deep frustration with the "Blugrana" season, after the team's last match in La Liga against Villarreal.
Barcelona lost to Villarreal by two goals without a response at Camp Nou, concluding the season in the worst possible light, although the "Blugrana" already secured the La Liga net.
Cruyff after the game expressed disappointment with the season in general, and confirmed that he would have loved to beat Villarreal at the end of the season.
“It was good to end the season with a win, but the result wasn’t what we wanted, and now it’s time to work off the pitch,” Cruyff told Barcelona after the game.
“I’m not completely happy, but we must not forget that we had a very difficult time,” he added.
"We will try to strengthen the team, there is Plan A, Plan B, Plan C and D, but we will see what we can do, because we have to stop with the rules of financial fair play."
“We have to improve on all lines, it’s not about blaming anyone, we have to look for the balance of the team, and that hasn’t happened this season.
"We have to be calm, first know what we can do, we already know the whole situation, the issue of financial fair play," he added.
“The good thing is that the club is so attractive that any player in any league when he hears Barcelona’s name has interest, but obviously we have to look at what we can do, we need an important change,” Cruyff concluded.
