In 2012 to 2014, I managed and monitored the scheduling of content in social media channels for a smaller post-secondary institution. On Facebook I increased the average reach from 400 to 1,300, I generated over 500 additional followers with up to 30 favourites and 60 retweets on Twitter, and within three months, my colleague and I started an Instagram account and gained a target audience of 150 followers (a sixth of the overall student body). We also created a mini campaign where followers shared photos with our hashtag gathering over 600 photos in six months.
