Good customer service means consistently exceeding customer expectations and going out of your way to help people solve their problems. To me, customer service not only means helping customers get what they need but also making sure they feel supported. In my role as a customer service rep. for a major retail company, I often receive calls from people who would like assistance with items purchased in a store or for ecommerce. I had a customer who ordered an item online, and wanted it to be delivered by a particular date because she was going to be out of the country. I remember having to liaison with my ecommerce team to get the item delivered. In the end, we were able to deliver the item before her scheduled departure. She was so impressed with the experience that left a feedback about our interaction.
