Our travel agency brought online marketing technology to the island of Boracay, Philippines in 2006. It was the first of its kind. The platform provided an Online Travel Agency Portal, as well as hotel website platforms with integrated instant booking technology for small, medium and large hotels and tour operators. This enabled hotels and small family owned accommodations to market themselves online, with free websites, online booking and payment gateway platforms and training in online marketing. The Travel Agency portal and websites were later extended to Manila, Cebu and Palawan. Our team were intrinsically involved in designing and mapping the development updates required to keep the platform current and modern, utilising their customer and user knowledge and expertise, as well as beta-testing any updates and managing SEO. In 2011 and in partnership with Hotel Link Solutions, a Vietnamese-based technology company, we introduced digital tools to assist Philippine Hotels to compete more effectively with the global Online Travel Agencies, which were dominating the travel market and online bookings. The Philippine team assisted with beta-testing the digital tools, and the creation of other tools that supported Hotel Link Solutions to become a market leader, giving the marketing and direct booking power back to domestic hotels.
