Customer service Representative

$8/hr Starting at $25

I started working as a billing and sales consultant for a Telecommunications Company and i really enjoyed it as it looks pretty simple. Explaining the bill and other inquiry that they are not so familiar with. Offering a product is quite hard as time passed by since some of the customers were reluctant. But it can be learned and you can think of techniques to make things better. it has been my forte during my first years with BPO but as i moved in to another company, i became a collection agent and honestly, i feel so powerful. You can decide whether this customers service needs to be turned on or off (considering the rules). It was also my first in using Outlook and it was nice. It is easy to use, easy to manage. We are trained to do collection activity, that also includes discussing the bill, processing credit card payment, creating ticket for a missing payment or payment refund. We do not do hard collection. We are able to check as well if customer has been black listed or unable to obtain a good credit score because of a bad debt. After a year i have been moved by the same company to another function where i will manage a Portfolio for a Business Enterprise. There i became more knowledgeable in using Microsoft Word and Excel as well as Outlook and how to use not just the basic but almost all the function of it. Composing email from start to end of shift, answering calls if there is or calling clients or customer if needed is my everyday routine. Not to mention that i also have to review and action not only one entity but to my Portfolio, I have at least 300 companies to manage including franchise. It is our duty as well to accommodate and help our onshore Client Executives on customer disputes, research and even creating a ticket about their dispute in the absence of their Client Manager.
