I enjoy working with data and automating work. I have a BS in Computer Science and a Minor in Mathematics, and have developed applications and scripts using over a dozen programming languages. Most recently I have created queries with SQL, and automated Excel using VBA. I have used SQL for 14 years, primarily creating and updating queries, but have also created triggers, stored procedures, SSIS and SSRS. I currently have Microsoft SQL Server 2014 installed and use SQL Server Data Tools for Visual Studio 2013 to work with SSRS and SSIS projects. I also use an application called SQL Workbench to connect to a variety of SQL servers including Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL and AWS. I have also worked with VBA for 14 years including: importing data from various types of files, importing data using a connection to a database (usually SQL Server), creating tables, creating charts, creating and working with named ranges, assigning functions to cells, assigning calculated values to cells, and updating conditional formatting. One of the trickiest things I've done with VBA is to write a VBA module that creates a new Macro enabled workbook with customized VBA modules - essentially, automating automation with VBA. I have created Batch, VBS and Python scripts to automate file management and various calculations.
