I am a passionate problem solver above all the other titles such as solution architect, data engineer, and data scientist. I care deeply about software craftsmanship and correctness of my code. I am comfortable and confident in making original designs that suit the problems the best, instead of selling an existing solution. I love functional programming because I believe it is the best tool for creating provably correct, easy to test, and readily composable software, as well as in high-quality, reproducible data science work. I am an active member of the Amsterdam meetup groups for Scala and functional programming, giving serval talks every year. I also support the open source community by giving conference talks and submitting pull requests on Github.
