I have been working for over 10 years now. With that span of time, I learned a lot. From dealing with manuscripts as a typesetter, data entry specialist and customer service representative to name a few. I started as a typesetter for SPI Technologies way back 2006, my job was to arrange figures/images and equations. While working I also accepted an online job as a data entry specialist at odesk.com. I was assigned to search different computer shops in UK. However, due to some demands, I transferred to Teletech and landed a job as a customer service representative for Charter Communications- US based Telecommunications Company. We catered billing concerns, technical assistance and sales support as well. I worked there for more than 4 years. Then, I moved to another BPO company. We handled StraightTalk, Tracfone and Safelink accounts- Cellphone Company. From tier 1 (universal CSR) I was promoted to tier 2 (technical agent) in just a few months then eventually became tier 3 agent where I handled supervisory and managerial calls. Currently, I am working at SPICRM for almost 4 years now. My life in BPO industry was not easy. I learned how to handle irate customers. I learned to meet the demands of the client. I learned to socialize with my superiors and co-workers. I learned to give excellent customer service. I learned a lot and I am still learning up to now.
