I am a medical assistant, having been trained in school with administrative, clinical, and lab skills. I have good data entry skills, having learned more about it in school and I've continually done it in my positions working. I also have great customer service skills, having taken care of people for years in my work and I quickly, in my opinion, research and diagnose why the patient was there. I'm fluent in medical terminology. I assisted the doctor when needed, I performed lab tests, I gave injections and drew blood from patients with the tubes needed for the correct tests. I ran the front office desk which included checking patients in, scheduling appointments, taking payments, answering the phone, operating the office machines. I ordered supplies for the clinic. I have also worked in a call center for United HealthCare for a year, working with Medicare Part D. I worked at a Department Store for over 3 years selling shoes in the shoe department. I am a fast learner and my work is exceptional. If I don't know how to do something right, at any given moment, I will learn how and not give up. I'm a hard worker and reliable.
