Data entry job entails storing information to a computer by either typing each code in the form of information or computer programming language from another source. Maintaining accuracy along with the speed are some of the critical aspects for a Data Entry Executive. The job requires one to stay focused long hours without compromising on the quality of the deliverables. The stress each individual has to undergo can have some of the other repercussions such as health hazards including numbness in hands, wrists, shoulders and body.

Essentially Data Entry Operators should have excellent typing skills to qualify for the position. Most companies hire people having good Keystrokes per Minute (KPM), with a high degree of accuracy. However numbers can vary from one business to another, but they are based on individual keys rather than words. Although computers which can perform the task of scanning, printing and other data entry functions, it sometimes becomes very important to people sitting and typing all day and still working hard to pay attention to detail.

The use of audio input can help a person listen to information while entering data into a computer or similar system. All that a Data Entry Operator needs to do is be able to follow along as the recording goes ensuring minimal pauses to increase the productivity. Entering accurate information into the system is vital in applications like programming, since a wrong letter, number, or a symbol can throw off an entire command function within the
