Early detection can save the life andsurvivability of the patients. In this paper we survey several aspects of data mining which isused for lung cancer prediction. Data mining is useful in lung cancer classification. We alsosurvey the aspects of ant colony optimization (ACO) technique. Ant colony optimizationhelps in increasing or decreasing g the disease prediction value. This study assorted datamining and ant colony optimization techniques for appropriate rule generation andclassification, which pilot to exact cancer classification.
