I recently ended a ten-year career at a small literary non-profit, where I served as the fiscal officer for the last five years, working from home. In addition to organizational and grant reporting/budgeting and the daily accounting tasks, I proofread our three semester catalogues as well as grant documents for grammar, spelling, accuracy and clarity. Many budgets and financial reports also required me to write a narrative to accompany and explain the numbers. I have experience in the banking industry and worked several years for a temp agency, at clients and within the agency's office. In addition to managing other temps off-site, I produced sales reports, assisted the payroll department, wrote copy for the agency's website, and generally enjoyed the variety of tasks that came my way. I now work as a personal trainer, but with a flexible schedule, I am able to supplement my income with work that utilizes my skills attained in the corporate and non-profit sectors. I have no f
