My expertise includes developing financial reporting systems and applications (using MS Access, VBA, SQL, MS Excel, macros and modules), building customized financial models (using MS Excel/VBA), creating financial models and stress test scenarios to measure investment and portfolio risk, creating custom reports using native Excel functions and customized macros, using VBA to connect to other MS Office Applications, databases, and data feeds etc. Utilizing my MS Access/VBA expertise, I recently developed for JPMorgan Chase an application that generates a series of customized reports. The reports are generated in an MS Access front-end database and are based on data that is gathered from a backend SQL Server database via ODBC queries via stored procedures and complex SQL queries. Upon generation, the reports to MS Excel workbooks. Additional reports are generated within Excel by extracting data from the front-end Access database via ODBC queries and SQL statements.
