In Python, there are interfaces to access all the main relational databases - Oracle, ODBC, MySQL, SQLite and many others, but often we choose PostgreSQL, a free object-relational database management system. Also, in special cases, we will use a portable database application program interface, designed to access SQL databases from Python scripts, which unifies access to various databases. But most often, application interaction with the database occurs through tools such as SQLObject and SQLAlchemy, as well as Django ORM, which map the relational tables to the Python class model. The standard pickle module implements a simple object storage system that allows programs to save and restore Python objects in files or in specialized objects. With specific queries, it may be justified to use MongoDB - a document-based database management system (NoSQL).
