Among many successful projects the following might deserve particular mention:- An enterprise application we created, which is used by Shell nationwide(South Africa) and recently deployed to a few other African countries. This application manages relatively large volumes of data, includes a robust backend, a web frontend and a mobile application with a replicated database (created in Java CDC and has been tested on PDAs running on Windows Mobile). I personally created the architecture, communication protocols, database and original software. Now we have a software developer providing support for the application.- A backend and Java Applet frontend of a commercial product for a Biotech Company. The java backend retrieves data as a Graph using CORBA from a legacy C++ backend, parses it and generates and serializes objects used by the Applet to create text and graphical representation of biological data.- Contributing certain modules to an Open Source Bioinformatics Tool used by the Euro
