Building from scratch, modifying, optimizing, normalizing any of MS SQL Server, MySQL, Excel, Access, CSV databases. The databases that I have structured, for various applications have proved good for over 4-5 years even though a lot of new functionality , data elements and newer reports got added. This has saved a lot of man hours for the clients both in terms of software development cost as well as database modification. I prefer doing all data manipulation work through stored procedures and functions as it presents the data much faster to the main application than manipulating the data through the application.
