Built a new costing system for a mid-size power company. Integrated dozens of Access / Excel costing models and calculators into an automated, complex rule-based system. The company saw substantial savings due to the efficiency of this system. Programmed an expert forestry system based on customer-knowledge. Javascript was heavily used for the interface, implementing complex use of standard form elements used in creative ways. The tool is used by the sales force to simulate scenarios, determine bottlenecks, and give their customers the results they want. Wrote the backend Perl code for an e-commerce site selling products to owners of horses. Implemented the site security and host the site for the client. The program includes automatic password retrieval, scheduling of deliveries, and credit card processing.
