As a contract software developer, I have been responsible for several large-scale projects for e-commerce applications, including a shopping cart software package, an advanced database search utility, and a web database utility. These projects required an extensive knowledge of Perl and CGI processing. I've also developed numerous custom software applications for small and medium sized-business for both standalone and multi-user environments. These software applications, written in Visual Foxpro, include General Accounting packages, DUR (Drug Utilization Review), catfish inventory program, trucking software, and expert systems designed to recommend products based on customer input.
