I've spent most of my career in the field of computer aided engineering, mostly developing scientific and engineering software (both globally deployed and in the realm of research) for several engineered products corporations. I've been a part of teams that have developed solutions for data visualization, technology development, and product design including a completely new 3D geometry kernel currently being patented. I've recently gotten involved in GPU programming, integrating CUDA based algorithms with existing .net applications to achieve significant performance gains. In addition to this, I've spent time creating and analyzing simulations using the finite element method, developing new simulation techniques, and validating virtual results with physical testing.
