- J2EE-based document management system. Documents moved through a workflow defined according to the WfMC specification. System was componentized to maximize intra-company reuse. Components were EJBs or web-tier code. Main components included workflow component, document storage, user management, collaboration. I designed the system with two other people, and worked as part of a small team to implement it. I was responsible for the core application code, as well as numerous other subsystems. - J2EE-based technical manual viewer. System allowed users to navigate XML-based "Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals" (IETMs) using varied client device types (web browser, PocketPC, Java client, etc.). Manuals were interpreted, allowing flexibility to support multiple manual languages at runtime. Output was described in a UI-generic manual (using UIML) to maximize fidelity on various client devices.
