1985-1996 Baylor University Medical Center Dallas,TexasAs Information Systems Manager for BMG Systems group which is the "for profit" division of Baylor University Medical Center. While rather small in size compared to the Medical Center, BMG systems was responsible for over $100 million in sales and over $10 million in profit per year. I was responsible for all projects relating to BMG systems which consisted of 9 IBM S/36's, 2 AS/400's, IBM RS/6000, and several hundred PC's. My job was management of the design, programming and testing of all BMG applications. I managed 4 programmers and 1 network hardware resource. I was responsible for Database architecture and design for the current environment, and visionary design for the future. My responsibilities also included being a DBA for the databases which were ORACLE running on RS/6000. Front ends consisted of ACCESS, VB, and RPG on AS/400.
