- Performance tuning, Optimization, and monitoring
Managing SQL server agent and monitor schedule jobs, DB health, Disk and memory monitoring, event logs, alerts, and relevant services.
DB optimization by defragmentation, archiving, indexing and rectification of deadlock and optimize blocking by SQL server queries Execution Plan and third-party tool.
- High availability (RTO) / Disaster Recovery (RPO)
Configuration of mirroring, log shipping with standby or no recovery mode, and DB replication. Database Backup (Scheduling and Manual) and restoration.
- Integration and Reporting
Access DB tables from other SQL Servers and Oracle DB through linked server. Create Analytical reporting by writing SPs, UDF & complex queries using Power BI. Configuration of SQL Server DB email and schedule time taking reports and send to business executive by email.
